This is a custom template that will allow you to use your Arturia KeyLab MK2 with a seamless workflow in FL Studio. This will give you the full functionality and value out of your MIDI controller. This is the best workflow for the KeyLab MK2.
It will allow you to get the vibes going fast. With this method you don't have to use the FPC, and you can have your MIDI data separate from the jump. Making it easy to arrange and mix later in the process.
Features Include:
MPC Mode
- Use drum pads like a traditional MPC, triggering the sample for that channel.
- Pad 1 triggers channel 1
- Pad 2 triggers channel 2
- Use the pads to trigger drums, FX, sample chops, and more
Transport Controls
Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop, Play/Pause, and Record work as intended.
Channel Mode
The select buttons on the right side of the keyboard, under the faders, will change channels in the FL channel rack and allow you to change between instruments without touching the mouse.
- Select 1 - Selects Channel 1
- Select 2 - Selects Channel 2
- Select N - Selects Channel N
- Up to 16 Channels supported
To get to channels 9-16 press Part 2 to change to Bank 2 (left of the faders)
Supports KeyLab 49 MkII , KeyLab 61 MkII and KeyLab 88 MkII. Does NOT support MiniLab MK2. There is a separate template and video for the MiniLab MK2.
